About MySafe:LA

MySafe:LA delivers fire and life safety education in the greater Los Angeles area. We offer programs to 4th, 5th, and other grade school children, as well as adults, seniors, and those at-risk.This website is an information resource and education environment for anyone living in southern California. 

Our ongoing goal is to provide you with information that can be used to increase your awareness about important safety issues in your home, school and office. When there's an emergency, you should tune in to your local radio or television station for the latest information. At the same time, you can also prepare in advance by using MySafe:LA.

MySafe:LA is a product of the Safe Community Project, a California Non-Profit organization. MySafe:LA is the official fire and life safety partner of the Los Angeles City Fire Department, but is a separate organization. Content delivered via the MySafe:LA program may be part of official City of Los Angeles or Los Angeles Fire Department initiatives and is licensed for such use.

MySafe:LA is a FireCorps organization, serving as an auxiliary to the Los Angeles Fire Department. We are also partnered with the Children's Burn Foundation, and SafeKids International.
