| Get Ready, Get Set, GO! - Several dangerous fires are burning in the greater Los Angeles area and several thousand homes are potentially in harm's way. A wildfire is unlike any other type of fire. It's not contained in a building. It's subject to the wind, the fuel load, and the topology of the area in which it is burning. As a wildfire grows, it can create its own "climate" and change direction, speed, and ferocity. Don't get surprised and worse, trapped. When authorities say, "evacuate," do it.
