Margaret has a lot of wonderful stories to share about Bo, rescue dogs in general, and the FEMA task forces their assigned to. The LAFD is part of CA-TF1, based at Fire Station 88 in the San Fernando Valley. Bo trains every week, and she's ready to go anywhere in the world to find people who are missing or trapped.

Get Ready, Get Set, GO! - Several dangerous fires are burning in the greater Los Angeles area and several thousand homes are potentially in harm's way. A wildfire is unlike any other type of fire. It's not contained in a building. It's subject to the wind, the fuel load, and the topology of the area in which it is burning. As a wildfire grows, it can create its own "climate" and change direction, speed, and ferocity. Don't get surprised and worse, trapped. When authorities say, "evacuate," do it.
